Constructive Meeting with the Auditor General

A delegation from the Committee of Public and Wider Public Sector of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors, together with the Institute’s President Mr.  Aristodemos Yiannakas recently had a constructive meeting with the Auditor General of the Republic.

The meeting focused on the promotion of internal audit in the public and wider public sector, its value to the public, current challenges, regulatory improvements and opportunities for enhanced cooperation between the Audit Office and internal audit professionals.

We would like to thank the Auditor General for his hospitality and open communication. We remain dedicated to establishing a strong framework for ongoing cooperation.
