Vacant position of Head of Office of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors

Applications are accepted for the position of a Part-time, Head of Office of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA Cyprus), based in Nicosia. IIA Cyprus was founded in 1998 and has more than 500 registered members, from all sectors of the economy, both public and private. The Institute is affiliated with the International Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA Global) and a full member of the European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing (ECIIA).

 

Duties and responsibilities:

  • General organization of the Institute’s office
  • Ensuring the adherence to the provisions of the Articles of Association of the Institute
  • Maintaining and managing the Register of Members of the Institute
  • Management of the accounts and receipts of the Institute
  • Coordination of actions for the collection of the annual subscriptions of the members of the Institute
  • Continuous cooperation with the Board of Directors and the Committees of the Institute, providing assistance to them for the implementation of their programs and activities
  • Coordination and organization of the training courses included in the Institute’s Annual Training Program
  • Coordination and organization of the Cyprus Internal Audit Forum organised by the Institute
  • Representation of the Institute in meetings and/or presentations/conferences both at home and abroad, when requested by the Board of Directors
  • Cooperation and communication with other professional bodies and organized groups (Associations and Boards) both at home and abroad (Global Institute of Internal Auditors, European Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditing, other national Internal Audit Institutes, etc.)
  • Execution of other tasks assigned to him/her by the Board of Directors

 

Qualifications required:

  • University degree or professional qualification in subjects such as Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, etc.
  • Holding a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) professional qualification will be considered an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of the Greek and English languages
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and electronic communication tools
  • At least three years of professional experience

 

Working hours: 

Five-day week (Monday to Friday) with 5 (five) hours per day. The exact schedule will be determined after consultation of the interested party with the Board of Directors of the Institute.

 

Remuneration package:

Salary will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
